REFUND POLICY

Refunds (less credit card charges) are only available should you or the airline cancel the flight for which you purchased a Carbon Credit offset, and this flight was not replaced by you or the airline (i.e. you never took the flight or a similar flight in lieu).

Should you miss your flight, change your flight details (e.g. date of flight, time of flight, etc), or some other situation occurs which means you did not receive either a cancellation notice and monetary refund (partial or full) or replacement flight from the airline, this does not constitute a cancellation under these Terms and Conditions, and therefore, a refund is not payable.

In order for us to refund your Carbon Credit offset, we will need the following information from you:

  • Your name (as per your purchase);
  • Your email address;
  • A landline phone number and available times to call in case we need to discuss any related issues with you;
  • Return of the Purchase Receipt which we sent you after your purchase for purchase verification purposes; and
  • Formal written (hard or soft copy) proof of cancellation of flight as received by you from the relevant airline.

On receipt of the above information via the Contact Us Form, we will confirm the details and after confirmation and approval, issue you a refund of monies paid less any credit card company charges to the Credit Card you used to make the Carbon Offset purchase.

Greenflight will not impose any administrative fees on the refund, however, your Credit Card provider may impose transaction fees on the refund transaction. Greenflight is not responsible for any fees imposed by your Credit Card provider or any third party.
